Teoh Kok Lin is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Singular Asset Management - a boutique Asian equity fund management company based in Malaysia and Singapore that caters to institutional investors and high net worth individuals. Mr. Teoh is an independent director of Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC), a subsidiary of Bank Negara Malaysia, which facilitates small and medium-sized enterprises to obtain bank financing. He is also the Chairman of CGC’s Board Investment Committee where he guides CGC’s fixed income investments, amongst others.
Mr. Teoh is the Chairman of working committees of several Chambers that actively engage with policymakers and other stakeholders to promote business and trade in Malaysia and overseas. He is the Advisor of the Digital Economy Committee of National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM). He is also the Chairman of the Digital Economy Committee and Deputy Chairman of Socio-Economic Research Committee of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM). He was the Past President of CFA Society Malaysia.
Mr. Teoh graduated top of his class obtaining a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MBA equivalent) from Purdue University in the US. Prior to that, he obtained two first class honours bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering and Commerce.
Mr. Teoh has a wealth of experience, accumulated over 30 years in the financial markets. Prior to founding Singular Asset Management, he held senior positions in top institutions including Citicorp Citibank, ING Barings, HSBC Research and UOB Kay Hian.
