Executive Director, HKAI LAB

 

Mr. Shang Hailong is the Executive Director of HKAI Lab and Managing Director of SenseTime Hong Kong. He is responsible for SenseTime’s strategic and overseas business, especially in the fields of innovation, including autonomous driving, retail, healthcare and remote sensing. Underpinned by his keen strategic vision, extensive experience in large-scale projects and overseas business management, and close interactive relationships with government departments at all levels, Mr. Shang has led the rapid growth of SenseTime’s strategic and overseas business.

Mr. Shang currently serves as Vice Director General of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Alliance and Vice Director General of the Shanghai AI Alliance. Prior to joining SenseTime, Mr. Shang was the Senior Vice-President of China Unicom Global in charge of its global B2B business. He was also previously the Director of China Mobile Hong Kong’s Government and Enterprise Relations Department as well as a university lecturer. Mr. Shang holds a B.Eng. and MBA.
